Vinification:
Made from grapes grown on 9-10 year old vines planted 160-260ft above sea level. Cold maceration prior to fermentation in order to obtain the maximum aromatic expression of colour and fruit. A modern wine which reflects the traditional winemaking techniques of the Empordà.

Red meat, poultry and game, semi-mature cheeses, pulses, cured meats and casseroles.

Vinification:

Vinification:
Made from hand-picked grapes from vines planted 160-260ft above sea level. Cold maceration to obtain maximum colour and aromatic expression. Aged for 12 months in French oak barrels. A modern wine which reflects the traditional winemaking techniques of the Empordà.
Food pairing:
Red meat, poultry and game, mature cheese, pulses, casseroles and cured meats. An ideal wine for a formal dinner.
Tasting Note:
Color: mid straw yellow. Aroma: on the nose it gives appetising aromas of peaches and white fruit with a back note of lemon-lime. Taste: fresh with complexity, cleansing and rich.

Seafood, especially oysters, fresh prawns and griddled mussels, rice dishes such as risottos and paella, pasta, cheese, and desserts featuring white-fleshed fruit and crème.
Tasting Note:
Color: glossy cherry. Aroma: fresh red berries, black ink, mulling spices such as clove and nutmeg. Taste: delicately spiced with a fresh and long finish.

Tasting Note:
Color: glossy aubergine. Aroma: blackberries, ink, green coffee beans, tasty notes and hints if vanilla. Taste: concentrated and round with soft tannins and refreshing. It has a long finish and is soft on the palate.
